Digital Research Services Introduction for HCA

An introductory online course on digital research services for the School of History, Classics and Archaeology.

This course illustrates the key digital resources available to support your research needs, and signposts you to further information and support on each. By completing this course, you will familiarise yourself with the available resources and identify who you can contact for further help. The course was designed with the research needs and interests of all HCA graduate students and staff in mind.

The course was developed by Roxanne Guildford as part of the Digital Research Services Ambassadors internship.

Get Started

  1. Log-in at https://www.learn.ed.ac.uk
  2. Select Self-Enrol at the top-right banner and 'Browse Course Catalogue'
  3. Search for the course 'Digital Research Services Introduction for HCA'
  4. Hover over the course id zu_hca_digital_research_services and click the down arrow that appears, then click Enrol
  5. Navigate back to My Learn (see banner) where the course can be accessed from the section "Courses where you are Student"
